-30 degrees..no problem. Here we come KIRKLAND LAKE!

We have just returned home from The Great North. Friday night we had a show in Kirkland Lake Ontario, which is about 600kms North of Toronto. Bright and early Thursday morning, Nick, my Grandma and I piled into our van and drive 7 hours straight North.

My Grandma was born and raised in Kirkland Lake, so she came with us to show us the sights. When we arrived it was a winter wonderland with a temperature of minus 30, and the snow piled high on the side of the road.

Friday we got the full Kirkland Lake Tour, complete with 2 museums. Kirkland Lake is a mining Town (lots of Gooolddd!!) Foster Hewitt called Kirkland Lake "the town that made the NHL famous" because so many hockey players were born there (ie- Ted Lindsay) We tried out our own hockey skills..

Our show was held at the College Auditorium.

Thanks to everyone who came- what an enthusisatic crowd- you guys were awesome. Here is a video of the audience giving a big Kirkland Lake Shout out during the show:

Stay tuned for our DVD preview, coming in just a few days to our website. The full length DVD will be released in April, and a new CD will be done by the summer...
We best be getting to work!
Thanks Kirkland Lake!!
Have a great week,

Love,
Taes and Nick
