March Break & Manatees

What a March Break! So glad that we had nice week of weather, because we did some major driving around from show to show. It was great to see some familiar faces, and meet so many more families. Thank you to everyone who made a show part of your break, and also a huge thank you to those who came dressed in Pirate Costumes- love it!

This is right before our final show of the week at the Delta Auditorium in Hamilton. A Special thanks to Umbrella Family and Childcare Services in Hamilton for sponsoring the show. http://www.umbrellafamily.com/ellafamily.com/

On a completely non-show related note...I wanted to share something with you, because it made my day. Not sure if you know this, but I have a thing for Manatees. I travelled a few years ago to a place called "Manatee Bay" (sound familiar..?) . I was able to go and see them in the wild, which was AMAZING. But my full-life time goal is to swim with them. Apparently there is a place in Florida...keep waiting to get some Florida shows!

Check out these baby Manatees who have been rescued:
Does it get any cuter than that?! One of my favorite sites is: http://www.savethemanatee.org/
Check out how we can all do our part to save these beautiful animals.

Ok- back to business. (baby animals distract me very easily)

Our Hamilton Place show is coming up, and we just got a call from the box office and tickets are going fast. So, if you would like to come, get your tickets asap. We are playing in the studio theatre, so there are a limited number available.

Musical March

Hello!

We hope you are enjoying your last few days of Winter as Spring is set to make its great come-back.
We had a wonderful time last weekend performing a benefit concert for the Children's Aid Society in Owen Sound at the OSCVI Auditorium.

Last week we had a tour of Eastern, Ontario. One of our stops was at J.G Simcoe Public School in Kingston. When we arrived we were so excited to find that the 5/6 class had been practicing a performance of "Treasure of Gold". They did an amazing job, and ended up performing it during the show for the rest of the school. Here is a picture of the Pirate Crew:

Here is a clip of their rehearsal performance:

Awesome!
Then is was off to the Octave Theatre in Kingston where we were blown away by a sold out crowd. YAY Kingston! It was amazing to see so many familiar faces. Thankyou all so much for coming.
